ClawCall launched in 2026 as a service that lets AI assistants place and manage real phone calls on a user’s behalf. The product connects to existing agents such as ChatGPT, Claude and GrokBot, dials numbers, navigates phone trees, speaks to human representatives and returns what was said into the chat interface.
How it works
The agent receives instructions from the user’s preferred assistant and performs the call end-to-end: it makes the initial call, follows automated menus, waits on hold and conveys the responses back to the user. When a conversation requires a user decision, the service rings the user and connects the call only after the user confirms, which the company says preserves user control over important moments.
Integrations and safety
ClawCall appears in ChatGPT’s directory as an official phone plugin and can also connect in two clicks to other agents including Claude Code, Openclaw and Hermes Agent; the team notes it is a trending skill on ClawHub. Each AI agent can be assigned its own phone number.
The founders described design choices intended to protect sensitive data: the system will not read out payment card numbers, IDs or one-time codes, and built-in classifiers are set to reject calls that contain such information. The company also framed the product as addressing a gap where many small businesses still rely on phone-based booking while some vendors already use incoming-AI systems.
Use cases and limits
Early examples cited by the team include cancelling a gym membership, calling repair shops for quotes and waiting on hold with insurers until a claims representative is available. The service returns reference numbers and other call outcomes into the chat, but the team warns that care is taken to avoid exposing sensitive details during voice output.
Pricing on launch: free for the first 30 calls and 30 minutes with no card required. Paid tiers are listed at $4.99/month for unlimited calls, $8.99/month to include a personal number, and $14.99/month to have that number answered as well.
