OpenAI has agreed to secure about 8 gigawatts‑IT at the PORTS‑Pike Technology Campus with SB Energy, NVIDIA, and the U.S. Department of Energy. OpenAI says the project will create 35,000 construction jobs through 2032, 2,500 long‑term jobs, and provide $84M in Codex credits to Ohio students.
A team from Dharma-AI reports a constraint-aware GPU allocator that, in benchmarks, increased utilization by up to 33 percentage points and raised priority-weighted output by as much as 105% versus a FIFO scheduler. The authors tested identical workloads on identical hardware.

SpaceX has completed its acquisition of AI coding startup Cursor, the companies announced on August 15, 2026. The April deal had given SpaceX an option to buy Cursor for $60 billion; Cursor said the move gives it access to SpaceX’s GPU fleet and computing infrastructure.
