CrewTower released a mod designed to surface and control AI coding agents from the MacBook notch, linking Claude Code sessions to a persistent interface. The developer says the tool monitors agents including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Qwen and OpenCode, and displays agent activity without needing to switch windows.
How it presents agent activity
According to CrewTower, the notch displays permission requests with full context: the exact command an agent proposes, the file edit it would make and any related question. Users can approve or deny those requests in one click, “without touching the terminal,” the developer states. Sessions appear as cards that can be compacted, paused, or expanded to see what fills an agent’s context.
Session management and navigation
CrewTower says the interface shows every session at once and labels their state as working, waiting or done. When an agent requires attention, the mod allows users to jump directly to the appropriate terminal window. The developer describes the feature as a way to prevent background processes from stalling silently.
The mod integrates with Terminal and Claude Desktop and is presented as a local application that “stays on your Mac, off until you turn it on,” per the launch description. CrewTower notes that the mod links multiple Claude sessions to the notch, enables typing the next prompt on an agent’s card, and supports halting a turn mid-execution.
This release is the second launch from CrewTower. The company lists the product under developer tools, artificial intelligence and menu bar apps. Payment is required to use the mod, the developer indicates.
