Launch of Verity Score
Launched this week, Verity Score is a new Shopify app designed to monitor how six AI assistants describe a merchant’s store and assist in correcting any inaccuracies.
AI Assistant Tracking
The tool captures responses from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, AI Overviews, and Grok, saving each answer verbatim along with the sources cited by the assistant.
Correction Process
When a store page is missing or contains incorrect information, Verity Score generates a proposed correction using the merchant’s own wording. Merchants must approve the suggested changes before they are published to the Shopify store, and they have the option to undo these changes at any time.
Content Generation and Performance Measurement
In addition to corrections, the app generates blog posts based on customer requests and rewrites content that may not be suitable for other AI tools. After publishing corrections or articles, Verity Score measures the visits and orders attributed to the tracked AI assistants, providing insights into the effectiveness of these sources.
Availability
Verity Score is available as a Shopify app with a one-month free trial, allowing merchants to monitor multiple AI assistants, publish approved corrections, generate blog content, and measure AI-driven traffic and orders.
