Leadership change
On August 13, 2026, OpenAI announced that Dali Rajic will join as Chief Revenue Officer to lead the company’s global revenue organization. OpenAI said its products now reach more than one billion weekly active users and serve more than two million businesses, about twice as many as a year earlier.
The company credited Denise Dresser with building the commercial team and customer relationships during a formative period. OpenAI said Dresser will leave following a transition period and will work closely with the business team to support customers during the handover.
Experience and mandate
OpenAI described Rajic as having deep experience running metrics-led revenue organizations and selling to both large enterprises and technical customers. Most recently he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Wiz, which was recently acquired by Google. His prior roles include President and Chief Operating Officer of Zscaler and Chief Customer and Revenue Officer at AppDynamics.
Greg Brockman, President and Co-Founder, said the company is entering a compute-powered economy with AI embedded across workflows, and that Rajic will translate lessons from the current phase into repeatable execution as OpenAI builds the revenue operating system for the next generation of models.
Go-to-market support
To accelerate its commercial efforts, OpenAI said it has formed a strategic partnership with Chad Peets and RPT Partners to help build a go-to-market team. Rajic said he is excited to join, build on existing momentum and lead the revenue organization as customers adopt AI.
The announcement frames the appointment and the new partnership as steps to scale OpenAI’s revenue operations. Denise Dresser will depart after the transition period, and Rajic will lead the global revenue organization going forward.
