Meta launches Meta One bundles with expanded Muse AI features

Meta has introduced Meta One, a group of subscription plans that bundle expanded access to the company’s Muse AI tools across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The new consumer tiers — Core ($7.99/month) and Premium ($19.99/month) — include previously announced Instagram Plus ($3.99/mo), Facebook Plus ($3.99/mo) and WhatsApp Plus ($2.99/mo) features while adding higher allotments of AI usage.

Consumer and AI-focused plans

Meta said both Core and Premium let subscribers generate images and videos with Muse Image and Muse Video, use Instagram’s AI-powered Restyle editing tool more frequently, and access additional voice effects and creative tools. The company declined to publish precise usage limits for the plans, stating those limits may vary by “country, surface and system conditions.”

The March roll-out of the Plus tiers has already produced measurable revenue movement, according to market intelligence firm Appfigures. As of the week of September 9, Appfigures reported Instagram’s daily worldwide revenue averaged $1.2 million and Facebook’s daily revenue reached $528,000 — increases of 475% and 143%, respectively, from the week prior. Appfigures also noted U.S. users accounted for 32% of Instagram’s and 39% of Facebook’s revenue after the plans gained traction, about 10% above each app’s historical U.S. baseline.

Business, creator tiers and outlook

Meta is also offering business and creator plans: Essential (starting at $14.99/month), Advanced (from $49.99/month), Expert (from $149/month) and Max (from $499/month). Meta described features for Essentials such as tools to manage presence, expanded access to the Meta Business Agent for customer responses, a verified badge and a channel on the WhatsApp Business App, plus impersonation detection. Advanced adds capabilities including scheduling stories up to 30 days, links in organic posts and reels, exportable analytics, team access controls and increased Meta Business Agent capacity.

Meta said it will continue to add features and agent skills for marketing, business operations, content creation and optimization, and that it will add Edits Plus to Meta One to increase cloud storage and Edits AI assistant usage. Financial analysts have offered projections for the subscription push: BNP Paribas estimated it could add $13.5 billion in revenue by 2028, while Truist projected up to $20 billion by 2030.

Meta cautioned that plan benefits, pricing and availability may vary by region, app and account.
